Born and raised in the "live music capital of the world," Austin, Texas, Vivi McCracken is a recording singer/ songwriter currently based in Nashville, Tennessee. 

As a young child, Vivi often found herself singing her own lyrics under her breath, before she was even old enough to know the structure of a song. After witnessing her attempts to pick out melodies on her sister's unused guitar, Vivi's parents finally gifted her with her first guitar (and lessons) when she was nine years old. With the few chords she knew, she immediately began writing her own songs. She participated in her first open mic night in Austin at the age of thirteen and quickly found a love for performing as well. She began to book shows all over Austin and in any city her family traveled to. From the ages of thirteen to seventeen, Vivi played in Austin, Nashville, Chicago, London, Paris, and Ruhengeri, Rwanda, and also became a top ten finalist in the Old Settlers Music Festival Youth Songwriting Competition at the age of fifteen. Since then, she has developed and honed this art, creating lyrically dynamic and nuanced songs, with a memorable, unshakable hook. At the age of twenty-two, she had the opportunity to share this gift with the world, through the recording of her first EP. These songs give insight into Vivi's personal life as well as her unique satirical sense of humor, through clever irony and metaphors. Her rich, soulful voice delivers these honest lyrics through catchy, moving melodies.
